Fishing Emporium

Fishing Emporium is a simple, casual game where you try to grow your fishing business. Catch and sell fish, buy better rods and expand your Fishing Emporium giving you even higher sale prices!

The game was made by me during Kenney Jam 2022 in under 2 days. All assets were provided by Kenney.

Overview

• You can upgrade your emporium and buy better rods by interacting with sign/rods.
• On the right side, there's a lake where you can fish - you need to cast a rod, wait for a fish and then be quick to catch it! You can get small, medium and big fish. Look out also for pufferfish and even a goldfish!
• You can transition to the next day of work if there's no more fish or you just feel like it.
• Better rods will give you more casting distance.
• Better emporiums will give you price multipliers (2x and 3x).

Controls

• WASD or Left/Right/Up/Down for movement
• LMB/F for upgrading emporium, buying rodes, and catching fish
• R to transition to the next day
